The Sisters of the Holy Rock are a long running volunteer performance group known for joyful shows, community spirit, and major fundraising impact. They needed a fresh website that felt bright, fun, and welcoming while still being easy to navigate for an older audience.
The Approach
I created a design using bold purples, playful accents, and large, easy to read typography. The goal was to keep the experience lively without overwhelming users. Increasing font sizes, improving spacing, and simplifying layout choices made the site accessible and comfortable to use, especially for visitors who might not be tech savvy.
At the same time, the design respects the group’s history. The tone stays warm, friendly, and community focused, reflecting the spirit of their performances and the heart behind their fundraising work.
